For the past four years, Dentistry of Colorado has participated in the annual Denver PrideFest parade and expo. It’s an event we look forward to all year and it always exceeds our expectations. The vendors and food vendors were incredible and the parade was the largest and best one yet with 250 entries! The Center on Colfax does an amazing job producing this two day festival which includes Denver Pride, Denver PrideFest, the Coors Light Denver Pride Parade, and the Pride 5K. Proceeds support vital programs and services that positively impact the LGBTQ community in Colorado, including our youth.
The first PrideFest in Denver was in 1976. Since then, it has grown leaps and bounds and draws more than 375,000 guests each year. The parade is the seventh largest Pride parade in the United States.
The attendance at the parade was remarkable! There were so many smiles and so much positive energy – there was no choice but to have fun! It was amazing to see all of the local Colorado businesses making a statement of support for the LGBTQ community. Community groups, non-profits, and LGBTQ owned-businesses came out to support the community.
